Overview

The Department of Law, Aliah University, Kolkata, in collaboration with AUDLAA, is proud to host the 7th National Level Seminar on “Analysing the Trends and Efficacy of the New Criminal Laws in India.”

Following India’s historic transition from colonial-era statutes to the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, this seminar provides a vital platform to critically evaluate their real-world impact. By bringing together legal experts, scholars, and practitioners, the event aims to dissect recent judicial trends, procedural overhauls, and the integration of digital evidence.
