The Centre for Study of Law and Governance along with Institute of Law, Nirmal University is organising a webinar on the topic ‘Federalism: Origin, Evolution and Post-COVID times’ on Wednesday, 24 June.
The division of federal powers acquires special relevance in the present times. The COVID-19 pandemic presents unprecedented constitutional challenges to the states worldwide. India, too, has found itself in the throes of the pandemic.
During this time, the dynamics of the relationship between the Central government and the State Governments acquires prime importance since the risk requires attention at all levels of governance.
