How did you apply for the internship?
Ketan was browsing through LinkedIn when he came across this opportunity.
He drafted his cover letter, attached his CV and mailed it to email@example.com
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
Since the internship was virtual, Ketan was asked to join a Whatsapp group after receiving the offer letter.
He was then asked to introduce himself to his fellow interns.
He was introduced to working and writing during the term of his internship by the COO of Law Essentials Vijetha Chandana Killi on the very first day of his joining through a meet.
His superior was more than happy to review and watch him improve his skills throughout the internship.
She was also very friendly and approachable as described by Ketan.
1. Legal Research and writing; and
2. Blogging and editing.
The superiors and his fellow interns were cordial and welcoming. The work environment was overall friendly and good to work at.
He worked with the COO herself and learnt a lot being at the core of functioning of the organization and it’s content publishing.
The best thing about the internship was the exposure.
There were no bad things about it.
It was a four weeks long unpaid internship.
Details about accommodation and commute
It was a virtual internship.
Ketan very fondly told me about how he realized that law school won’t teach him how to write a legal research paper and yet would expect him to turn such papers in as projects.
This is when he described to me about how this internship and how it helped him understand how to write as a law student.
He told me that he was able to understand the right way of reading a judgement after he joined the Law Essentials team as an intern.
He credits Law Essentials for bettering his research and legal writing skills.
