Duration of internship

From: 01/10/2021 Till: 30/11/2021

How did you apply for the internship?

I applied for the internship ubAdvocate by filling a google form which I received from my batch-mates.

In which personal details had to be filled along with attaching a CV with it, and then submitting it.

First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression

On my first day I was provided with a task to be completed and submitted within 24 hours, titled as “Task 1” which was about studying a particular topic having legal interference and followed by a question of writing my opinion on that topic.

It was a complete online internship so there was nothing about infrastructure thing.

It was my first internship after joining my law school so I was quite anxious about what would happen on the first day of my internship but believe me everything went very smoothly and I enjoyed it a-lot.

Main Tasks

So our internship period was of 30 days and on each day we were assigned a new task to be completed which means we had to complete 30 tasks in total during the period of our internship.

The tasks assigned to us covered various important subjects of law like CrPC, CPC, IPC etc. and the recent advancements in the legal field.

We were daily given a topic to study for which sources of study was also provided and then there were questions framed or some work to be accomplished on the basis of the sources provided along with your application of mind.

Work Environment

The work environment was great as the people who were interning out there were added in a Telegram group in which all students made regular updates about their tasks.

They could ask for any type of query/help related to the task assigned of which they received a very quick reply from the authorities.

Their is also a very good provision for the students of just taking a break in-between the internship due to some unavoidable circumstances by just intimating them over the Telegram group without the need of getting any kind of approval.

For e.g. If a person has completed 15 days of his internship and then there is some unavoidable circumstance with him because of which he would be requiring a break of 5 days in his internship.

He can simply inform the the concerned authorities over the Telegram group of taking a break of 5 days and take it without waiting for any approval from them.

Good Things

There are a lot of Good things about the internship at ubAdvocate, which are as follows:1) Full cooperation and support from the ubAdvocate’s authorities as well as the students who have interned over there before.

2) Complete flexibility provided to students to change the commencement of internship dates as per their convenience or taking a break in between the internship by just intimating in the Telegram group.

3) Laws which are more important from the prospective of your day to day living are highly focused upon.

Bad Things

The only bad thing which I noticed is that they are very slow at giving of certificates of completion of internship as they take a lot of time for no reason to provide you with the certificates.

I received my certificate after writing multiple mails to them.

Details about accommodation and commute

The whole internship was virtually conducted thus, there was no need of accommodation and commutation and the entire internship details was conveyed to us on our registered email addresses.

Anything else?

The whole internship period went well as we really enjoyed interning out there and acquired a lot of legal knowledge and skills and also learnt the different ways of expressing our opinions on different topics.

Believe me I didn’t even realized how those 30 days of my internship passed away by making me a more learned and mature person.
