Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has great pleasure in announcing an intensive learning course for students in the field of mediation and negotiation through its 2 day training programme scheduled for 23-24 August, 2017 at VIPS Campus.
The Certificate Course aims to
a) Provide a prerequisite skill set for an aspiring mediator/negotiator.
b) Equip law students with tactics and tools for alternate dispute resolution .
c) Create awareness about effective communication and plausible alternative outcomes in diverse dispute scenarios.
d) Provide a hands on experience for application of the skill set through prompt simulations.
About Resource Persons
JONATHAN RODRIGUES is a certified mediator listed with the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM), and is currently posted as the World Mediation Organization’s (WMO) Continental Advisor for Asia.
He is also the development officer for Asia with the SCMA (London) and has been trained as a commercial mediator by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
ARJUN NATARAJAN is an alumnus of V.M. Salgaocar College of Law (Batch of 2009). He is a Delhi-based litigator. His practice area is dispute resolution, and his sector of focus is Communications (Telecommunication and Broadcasting).
Arjun is also a certified mediator by Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs under the aegis of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation.
The participants will be awarded certificates by the ‘Peacekeeping And Conflict Resolution Trust’ (PACT) and the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) and the same will be endorsed by the PACT representatives and a faculty in-charge from VIPS.

The hard copy of registration form and Cheque / Demand Draft / Cash must reach the college by August 5, 2017.
