Through this process you will learn how to deliver a sharp and impactful pitch and will also get valuable feedback and guidance that will help you refine your business model.

OBJECTIVE: To present your business idea to a panel of experts and get valuable feedback and guidance that will help improve your business proposition.
THE PITCH: The pitch is a simple summary of the the business model and your business plan i.e. the product or service, and how it addresses pain points in the market. Within the time limit, it should cover the following:
Problem – Explain the problem your product or service would address.
Solution – Explain how your product/service address the problem.
Social Impact – How it benefits poor communities.
Business Model – How the product or service will generate revenue (who pays you, your channels of distribution and your gross margins).
Competition – Identify your competitors and competitive advantage (patent, algorithm, unique service model, etc.).
Current Status – Explain the current status of your product or service, accomplishments till date and use of funds.
Future projection – Explain the fund requirement and financial projection for next 3 to 5 years.
Entrepreneur/Team – Details about the Founding team and senior management team/Board
Time given for pitch : 15 minutes
Time given for feedback by experts: 15 minutes
PITCHES WILL BE EVALUATED BY A PANEL OF JUDGES USING THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Innovation – Uniqueness in the idea or solution
Social Impact – Does the solution have a powerful impact on poor communities
Sustainability and scalability – sustainable business model and potential for scaling-up
Entrepreneur / Team – Background of the Entrepreneur and competencies of the Senior team, if any
Business Feasibility – To determine if it is feasible within the estimated cost and will be a profitable venture
Clarity and comprehensiveness – Is the presentation concise, does it cover all bases demonstrating knowledge of the market and business
