About the Podcast
Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy is delighted to announce “Justify: Law and Politics in India” its maiden podcast. The show will be hosted by Dr. Arghya Sengupta, Founder and Research Director at Vidhi. If a new kind of podcast is to be created, it should be one which is part news, part argument, part interview, and part-fun.
This is exactly how Justify is structured. Season 1 of Justify will see discussions on the Supreme Court judgments in Ayodhya, Sabarimala, RTI and the Supreme Court, deep constitutional issues like Kashmir and the basic structure doctrine, the opportunities and challenges for Chief Justice Bobde besides a special episode with a Supreme Court judge.
The podcast is divided into four segments:
- ROUND-UP, which gives you the latest developments from the world of the Indian judiciary.
- DEEP DIVE, where an argument on a contemporary legal development is discussed.
- TETE-A-TETE, where they have special guests to discuss the argument and share their views.
- CLATTER, the legal quiz which is a bit tougher than CLAT.
Hear Dr. Arghya Sengupta, Founder and Research Director at Vidhi talk about #Justify – a podcast on law and politics in India and why we’re doing it at a time that is critical for law and constitutionalism in the country!
