My First Day
The very first day I started my internship, along with the introduction to VGB Associates family, I was exposed to Corporate aspects of Law.
My first day started with learning the key role of Ministry of Corporate Affairs website in the filing of Writ Petitions for Director Disqualification.
My Overall Internship Experience
Throughout the month I experienced each and every aspect of the legal field. I started with corporate and expecting it to be the end as my horizon in that internship, I was proved wrong.
I was given exposure to Civil, Family, Consumer and Debt Recovery matters too.
1st week basically revolved around filing of writ petition for disqualified directors, but as the next week of my internship started, I was asked to go to courts and to do further research works on some of the cases the firm has been handling.
During this internship i was given an opportunity to visit High Court, Magistrate Court, City Civil Court, Family Court, Labour Court, Consumer Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal & NCLT. It has been a very great experience regarding court visit.
We were taught everything from the scratch so that there is no chance of making mistakes.
It was the best Learning experience from this firm and it helped me a lot in boosting my morale to face the dignitaries in the court hall.
Environment Of The Firm
The moment I joined VGB Associates, It was situated at Shivajinagar but now it has shifted to Jayanagar. The overall environment of the firm is very good and after it has shifted to Jaymahal Palace, the environment is at it’s peak.
I was assigned to work under Mr Ananya Gupta. He has been a very amazing senior and a constant support throughout the Internship. Apart from that, I assisted Mr Shreyas in Court Proceedings in which he imparted a lot of knowledge about working of courts.
Also, I was given the opportunity to assist Vivekananada Sir during my internship. watching him presenting a case is truly a treasure for any aspiring law students like us.
Overall, Internship at VGB associates is truly an amazing opportunity for law students. They give us the complete exposure of every field of law. Not only the knowledge they impart, they also boost the confidence of their interns.
It has truly been a very amazing opportunity for me to intern under VGB Associates. I hope to get an opportunity again soon.
