About UP Public Service Commission
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Uttar Pradesh. The agency’s charter is granted by the Constitution of India.
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is opening a job post of Vetting Officer, Under Uttar Pradesh Secretariat.
Pay Band-3, Rs-15,600- 39100/-, Corresponding Grade Pay- Rs 5400/-(Matrix Level-10 Rs 56100-177500/-), (Deptt. No.-S-2/01).
Bachelor of Arts degree (with English literature or Hindi Literature as one of the subjects) or Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Commerce degree with a minimum fifty percent marks from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto, and, three years Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum fifty percent marks from a University established by law in India.
Five years Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum fifty percent marks from a University established by law in India.
- A candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Or
- A candidate who has obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps, OR
- A candidate who possesses a Post-graduate degree in Law from a University established by law in India, shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
