UPES’ Webinar on Mergers and Acquisitions and New Ways of Business Diversification [Oct 11, 4-5:30 PM]: Register Now!

UPES Webinar on Mergers and Acquisitions

UPES is elated to conduct a webinar on “Mergers and Acquisitions and new ways of business diversification” where Dr. Daniele D’Alvia will be the key speaker.

About the Webinar

Do you know Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) account for more than 50% of IPOs in the US? SPACs have raised a record US$83 billion in 2020 (which is approximately two times the total monies raised in the last five years) and an additional US$95 billion has been raised in just the first three months of 2021 (as compared to just over US$ 5 billion in the first three months of 2020).

This has created a need for a solid regulatory framework for dealing with Blank Check Companies. The knowledge of such transactions is necessary for new age lawyers.

The registration link for the session is mentioned here: https://lawc.to/s2GVC

  • Date and Time: Oct, 11, 2021 (Monday) | 4 PM – 5.30 PM IST.
  • Organized by: School of Law, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun India.
