About the Book

The Information and Communication Technologies have become a lifeline for e- Trade, e- Commerce, M-Commerce, e- Communication and e- Governance in 21st century. In contemporary scenario Cyberspace, Internet, E-Commerce, Social- Networking Portal and the web in the lap of new Information and Communication Technologies have been developing at an amazing rate.

From a small group of American scientists, military and government workers twenty five years ago, the Net (Internet) now has a population of millions across the globe affecting human formation of different classes, cultural types, multiple backgrounds and diverse interests. The borderless and uncertain framework of technological arena has provided a fertile platform for violation of Cyber etiquette.

Major emerging challenges in the age of cyber space are ranging from the Dark Net Jurisprudence, online arbitration and dispute settlement, digital copyright, digital medicines, online relationships and so on. This edited book examines the symbiotic relationship between Law and Technological revolution.

An environment characterized by rapid technological evolution has posed unanswered issues in front of Indian Legal Jurisprudence. These challenges are: legal uncertainty, legal vacuum, legal process and legal delay. Legal lethargic response over the application of existing and traditional law to newly emerging technology catalyzes the cyber crime and the collection of digital evidences in the virtual space.

The objective of this edited book is to examine the emerging dimensions in Cyber law, to fill up the vacuum where new law is required to be introduced and to encode the suggestions by scholars, academicians, young legal minds and professionals working in the field.
