The University of Bristol Law School is extremely proud to host the Socio-Legal Studies Association (SLSA) Annual Conference 2018. The Annual Conference has been running since the association was founded in 1990 and is an opportunity for those in the field of socio-legal studies to disseminate knowledge and network with others in the field.

Call for Posters
Submission and Deadline: An abstract of your poster (up to 300 words) should be sent to with the email subject ‘Poster Abstract’, by 6pm on 2 February 2018.
The researcher should bring the poster to registration between 10:00-13:30, Tuesday 27 March 2018.
Poster Guidance: Posters should be designed to be A1 size (594 x 841mm) and can be landscape or portrait. They will be mounted on board using blu-tack, which will be provided.
Posters should have a title, and the name of the researcher(s), affiliation(s), and email address(es) should be clearly presented.
Researchers should ensure:
- Important information should be readable from about 1 metre away
- The title is short and draws interest
- The text is clear and to the point
- The use of bullets, numbering, and headlines present the information clearly
- Graphics, color and fonts are used effectively
- The layout is consistent and clean
