Constitutional Law Discussion Group (CLDG), University of Edinburgh is organising Dr Silvia Suteu’s Seminar on Constitutional Law. The seminar will be on May 8, 2018.
About the Speaker:
Dr Silvia Suteu joined the UCL Faculty of Laws in September 2016. She was previously a tutor and ESRC Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh.
She also co-founded and convened the Constitutional Law Discussion Group and acted as Associate Director for Research Engagement of the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law.
Prior to that, she held research positions at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (on the Rule of Law in Armed Conflicts Project), the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University (HPCR), and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.
She currently also serves as manager of the UK Constitutional Law Association Blog.
About the Group:
The Constitutional Law Discussion Group (CLDG) was established by PhD researchers at Edinburgh Law School to provide a structured forum for debate on constitutional issues in the Law School, between postgraduate researchers and staff members.
The Group operates with support from the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law.
The Group focuses on both practical and theoretical aspects of constitutional law, and designs each semester schedule with the aim of exploring constitutional matters and ideas across the world, as well as addressing UK-specific topics.
