CfP: Ninth Maritime Law & Policy International PG Research Conference @ City University of London [April 20]: Submit by Feb 16

About the Conference 

The London University’s Maritime Law and Policy Research Group is proud to announce that the Ninth Maritime Law and Policy Conference for researchers and postgraduate students will be held on Friday 20 April 2018.

All researchers and postgraduate students are invited who wish to present their research to a friendly and supportive environment to join this conference. Submissions in all areas of Maritime Law and Policy, including relevant interdisciplinary work, are very welcome.

Submission of Abstracts 

Intending speakers should prepare an abstract (250 words) in Word and email

All submissions must include your institution, a contact address, an email address and a contact phone number. The deadline for the submission is on 16th February 2018.

Each speaker will present their research ideas or papers for 15 minutes and a 10 minutes discussion will follow. Abstracts are invited from academics, industry professionals and students (Masters or PhD) alike.

Those who do not wish to give a presentation are also very welcome to attend.

Conference Fees

  • Speakers price: £39
  • Non-speakers price: £49
  • City LLM students: £29

The conference fee is to cover the cost of materials, equipment, venue, lunch and refreshments. We have deliberately kept it low to encourage wide participation.
