My Cell involved cases with the NRIs only. I was made to write letters and address the High Commissions and Embassies about the grievances of the victims.
The basic work of the C&I Cell is to directly interact with the aggrieved parties, listen to their complaints and then register them. Interns are also allowed to directly converse with the complainants. By this we come to know about their problems and it is very much practical. NCW was working on their upcoming initiative “SAVE THE HOME, SAVE THE FAMILY” due to which lots of our work was directed towards the same. We were asked to make background notes and presentations for this purpose and present it to the Joint Secretary at NCW.
