Students are required to submit their Research Topic Preference in their applications along with a 500 words Article on the Research Topic. Applications have to be mailed at [email protected]. 5 interns in each category will be selected. The selected candidates will be intimated by 14th August, 2014.
This course is intended to introduce participants to the provisions of the Competition Act, 2002 and its enforcement. It aims to create a better understanding of the market concepts, restrictive business practices, IPRs and cross border issues.
The course delivers an insight into the National and International Framework on Competition Laws including the History of the Law, Anti-Competitive Agreements, Abuse of Dominant Position, Combinations and various other topics relevant to the local and international competition laws.
National Law University, Delhi in association with CUTS Institute for Regulation and Competition (CIRC) announces the application intake for the 5th Batch of Certificate/Diploma Course in Competition Policy and Law.
The participants are required to complete the course in eight weeks as per the schedule. At the successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded with a Certificate signed by Chairman, CIRC. CIRC is pleased to announce a first ever Summer Course on “Competition Law & Practice in India”, which will be held at Indian Social Institute, Lodhi Road, Delhi from 27th to 29th June 2013 (from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm).
CIRC was established by the 30 year old pioneering research and advocacy group: CUTS International, which has been instrumental in bringing in the Competition Act, 2002 in India, other than actively engaged in developing competition regimes in over 30 developing countries, and advising governments.
