The Office is Huge spanning over 4 floors, with everything nicely maintained.
The interns were made to sit on the 2nd floor.
The initial formalities were filling of the personal details form and an introductory session with the HR manager and co-interns.
Main tasks were basic research work on various topics related to the areas of practice of the firm.
I got to research on matters related to arbitration, IPR, land acquisition, contract act etc.
Interns had to prepare case notes and summaries of relevant and related case laws.
The work environment was really nice, the firm had a policy that only the partners will give work to the interns, this sometimes led to us being free for long periods.
Apart from that the partners were very willing to help us learn and improve our researching skills.
The best thing about this internship will undoubtedly be the extremely cool set of co-interns, also there are good places nearby to hang out during the break, Select City Walk is just 15 mins from the office.
The office timing was the only bad thing, interns should be allowed to leave early if they don’t have work.
The biggest lesson I learnt here was that hardwork really pays off, Manoj Sir, the founding partner sets a really good example of this and it truly inspired me.
