Details about the Opportunity

“Constitution is not a mere lawyers’ document, it is a vehicle of Life, and its spirit is always the spirit of Age.”- Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

The Constitution of India is the supreme law of the land that reflects the fundamental principles on which the government of the country is based. The Constitution of India lays down a structure for political, economic and social democracy. It underlines the commitment of the people of India for asserting, ensuring and achieving the various national goals through peaceful and democratic ways.

Before seven decades, the Constitution of India has adopted various cherished principles of polity and good governance. The idea of having a written constitution is to guide the nation towards a glorious future. Our constitution is considered a very dynamic and living document that has paved the ways for many fundamental changes in India which have given true meaning to the concept of ‘welfare state’.

Through this conference, we aim to analyze various issues and challenges posed before constitutional philosophy and the constitutional mechanism. we also want to discuss, debate and find solutions to contemporary issues and challenges provided in sub-theses of the conference.
