About the Institute
Faculty of Law was established in the year 2017 under the benign patronage of Dr. M.R Doreswamy, Chancellor, PES University with a vision of establishing a Global Law School.
The Faculty of Law offers five years integrated law programs spread across ten semesters and One-year LLM program in three specializations (Constitutional Law & Administrative Law, Corporate Law & Trade Law and Intellectual Property Right & Trade Law).

About the Seminar
PES University, Faculty of Laws is organising a one-day National Seminar on Indian Supreme Court: An Audit. Through this seminar, they aim to appreciate the changing facets of Law in India in the backdrop of the global scenario.
The seminar is scheduled on the 14th of March, 2020. The Seminar seeks to create an air of academia and facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among students, professionals, academicians and research scholars.

Call for Papers
The abstract shall be a minimum of 300 words and shall not exceed 750 words. It must be accompanied by a cover page, containing the following details:
Title of the Paper and Sub-Theme, Name of the Author(s), Name of the Institution, E-mail Address and Contact number, Postal Address.
All submissions for the seminar have to be e-mailed with the subject as “Submission of Abstract/Paper Title”, as the case may be, bearing the name(s) of the author(s) as the file names, only to the following address: nslaw[at]pes.edu.
- Maximum number of words for the final paper: 3000 words
- Minimum number of words: 1500 words

- Last date for Abstract Submission: 22nd February 2020.
- Communication of Selected Abstract: 19th February 2020
- Last date of Registration: 29th February 2020
- Full paper Submission: 7th March 2020
- National Seminar: 14th March 2020

Participants must fill in the online registration form by clicking the link here or by scanning the QR code (provided in the brochure and poster).
Note: The Registration Fee does not include accommodation/travel allowance. The participants are herewith required to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging.
Please note that Registration Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Fee Details
- Students: Rs. 500/-
- Students (co-authorship): Rs. 750/-
- Academics/Professionals/Research scholars: Rs. 1000/-
- Academics/Professionals/Research scholars (co-authorship): Rs. 1250/-
The Registration Fee includes a seminar kit, a working lunch and refreshments on the day of the Seminar.
Note: DD (from Nationalized Bank preferably) shall be drawn in favour of “PES UNIVERSITY GENERAL FUND” payable at Bengaluru.
