About the Organisations and Seminar

The Consumer Advocacy Cell of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law along with Mumbai Grahak Panchayat presents A Seminar on Dispute Resolution for Home Buyers. The Seminar aims to provide insight regarding the practice of Dispute Resolution under the Consumer Protection Act, Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

The Seminar is divided in three technical sessions followed by a Valedictory Ceremony. The first technical session consists of presentations about dispute resolutions under Consumer Protection Act, Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The Second technical session consists of Alternate Dispute Resolution under these three legislations and the Third session consists of a Panel Discussion followed by question and answer round.


The Seminar is open for Practicing lawyers, law students, and other working professionals from the field of law.


The Seminar is on Saturday, 18th January, 2020 in the Moot Court Room (8th floor) of Pravin Gandhi College of Law. The timings of the seminar would be from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.


You will be registered after you fill up this form. The last date to register is 17th January, 2020 before 3 pm.

The registration fee for the seminar is Rs. 300/-. The registration process will not be completed until payment has been received to the college. Certificates would be provided to all participants of the seminar.

There is a maximum cap of 30 students strictly on first come first serve basis.
