Nawal Foundation is organising a One Day International Seminar on Globalization and its impact on Law,culture and society.

Date: 7th August, 2018

Venue: International Research Institute of Buddhist Studies, Vipin Khand, Gomtinagar, Lucknow

Globalization is derived from the term ‘globe’ which means, something which is not restricted to a particular territory or a country. Which the technological revolution, the world is now, a closely knitted group of countries.

Globalization has brought many advantages with it like inter-mingling of cultures, traditions and customs, better understanding of human rights and their violations, gender justice, each of which is vital in upliftment of the human race. 

Each of the three elements, law, culture and society are closely connected with human life and its betterment and upliftment. The topic holds special place in Lucknow, which is the cultural capital of Uttar Pradesh and a true example of Urdu, Persian and Indian culture. The Awadhi culture is world renowned.

Hence, this seminar will be very beneficial for its participant for it will cater their needs of a better understanding of the culture and the impact of globalization on it.

The seminar will witness the presence of some renowned members of British India  Association, which is run by former Taluqdars of Awadh, senior journalists, human rights activists and professors and members of the legal fraternity. The discussion with each will give a better understanding of the cultures of India and their transitions.

Abstract details: An abstract of 250 words shall me mailed to: on or before 28 July, 2018.

Last date for abstract submission: 28 July, 2018

Registration details:

  • Research scholars: ₹1200/-
  • Professionals : ₹1500/-
  • Attendees : ₹600

Note: Registration fee includes lunch, tea, workshop kit and certificate. No TA/DA will be provided by us. Registration fee is non-refundable. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to attendees along with lunch and kit.
