Faculty and Academics at School of Law, Jagran Lakecity University

We have classes from 10 to 4 from Monday to Friday and Saturday is off.

Faculty is very good. We have well qualified faculty. Everyone is very good at teaching. They are always ready to help and answer our queries.

University offers BBA LLB, BCOM LLB, LLB, LLM and Ph.D courses.

We have semester system with about 5 – 6 subjects in each semester.

If we see evaluation method then 75% marks are from written exams and 25% from assignments and presentation.

Student Culture and Activities

We have a lot of academic and co-curricular activities.

We have intra batch moot and teams go out in various moot competition. Teams also participate in parliamentary debate.

Also we participate in various dance, music, drama etc activities in our university’s function.

We have inter university sports competitions and also go out and participate.


As the campus is in outer of city Bhopal surrounded with dams and greenery.

Inside the university we have gymnasium, appetite (canteen), jicm (building for media and commerce students), student enrichment hub, school of law building etc.

Outside the university the nearest spot is Kaliyasod dam then Kerwa dam, Sakshi dhaba and other things are about 5-6 km away.

Placements at School of Law, Jagran Lakecity University

As our batch is the 2nd batch of the school of law so, there are no placements yet.

Students go to intern in tribunals, NGOs, courts, under advocates etc.

We have to do a compulsory internship in our summer semester break which is evaluated in the next semester .

Administration and Fees

The fees structure is as follows: (per semester)

Tution fee: Rs. 40000

Bus fee: Rs. 7000

Hostel fee: Rs. 35000

But this is subject to change as decided by the administration for a new batch.

Good  things

The best thing is the infrastructure and faculty.

The faculty really works hard to organise activities as well as for teaching.

Provide us study materials when ever required and encourage us to participate in various activities.

Bad things

Little dissatisfied with wifi facility and college timing is also a problem as students come back home by 6 in evening.

Other things

We have igniting minds lecture series in which different legal luminaries and young people from field of law come and ignite the students regularly.

We also have online manupatra access.

Tell us about the Infrastructure of your College

The college has got a beautiful campus with lots of greenery inside and nearby.

There is a separate hostel for boys and girls in the campus itself. As the college is in outer of city if one wants to stay outside the campus in hostel or pg s/he will get it approximately 5-6 km away.

There is a separate building in campus for school of law, with projectors in each class room, computer lab, moot court hall and a reference library.

There is a common library for university from where we can get books issued and sit and read.

There is facility of mess is for the hostel students and appetite (canteen) for everyone.
