TARKASASTRA is the Annual National Moot Court Competition organized by School of Law, SASTRA University with the noble intention of providing exposure to the budding lawyers to exhibit their advocacy skills.
TARKA, or logic, eternally prevails as the strongest weapon of a lawyer. Undeniably, the strength of this weapon can only be established by subjecting it to the ultimate test of truth.
The earlier editions of TARKA attracted the best talent in the country and was judged by eminent legal minds like Justice Prabha Sridevan, Justice K R Shriram, Senior Counsels G Rajagopalan, P H Arvind Pandian etc.
The School of Law, SASTRA University brings to you this ultimate test at TARKA SASTRA, 2015 – 4th National Moot Court Competition and promises to provide one of the best mooting experiences in the arena of law school mooting from 27th February to 1st March 2015, at SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
About the Problem:
The Theme for TARKASASTRA 2015 is “Corporate Crimes”. The problem is on Mismanagement of funds along with allied issues such as jurisdiction of CBI, SEBI etc.
