It was my first corporate internship and it gave more than I expected.
The infrastructure is commendable considering the strength of the firm. I reported to the receptionist and she accompanied me to my table. I was then asked to send a mail to all the associates and the partners introducing myself and my subjects in law.
Subsequently associates approached me with work and I was advised to ask them for work in case you find none. We were provided with lunch and a coffee twice plus you can ask for it n number of times 🙂
1. Research on topics associates asked for.
2. Draft and check agreements.
3. Call up government organisations to procure information.
4. Summarize documents.
5. Find relevant judgement and analyse the same.
6. Revert back to clients through emails answering their query.
Best work environment and extremely helpful group. You have lot of work to do there is hardly spare time but no pressure and associates are very helpful with the research.
