Rotary Indian International Model United Nations 2015 [Feb 13-14]: Register by Jan 20

RIIMUN has been India’s premier International Model UN for a number of years now.

The conference was first held in 1999 and holds the distinction of being India’s first college level MUN conference.

The conference is being hosted by the Rotary Club of Pune North East.

The conference attracts some of the best young debating talents, who don the role of United Nations delegates and discuss global issues of great relevance.

The aim is to create international awareness among the youth and expose them to the procedures and working of the United Nations to resolve pertinent global issues.

We also aim to educate participants about civics, effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy in a bid to create world leaders.

The 2015 International Conference will be held from 13th-14th February (Friday- Saturday) 2015 at Balaji Institute of Modern Management at Wakad, Pune.

The conference shall witness the simulation of 7 councils.

In addition, there will also be a simulation of the International Press at the conference, for all the budding photographers and journalists with an interest in international relations and world events.

RIIMUN organizes training sessions to ensure delegates are researched and well prepared prior to entering their respective committees. First time MUNers are taught Rules of Procedure, elements of foreign policy, drafting a resolution, how to research, and most importantly, how to win at a Model UN.

The RIIMUN training sessions are scheduled for the 7th, 8th and 12th of February 2015. Delegates may opt for the same on the registration form.

Registrations for Indian and international delegates and members of the International Press are now live HERE.

The first phase of registrations end on the 20th of January, 2015.

Delegates are encouraged to register early to get allotted the committee and country of their preference.
