RML Launches a Database to Help with COVID

The Legal Aid Committee of Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU) has started a COVID relief initiative along with their Legal Aid Clinic, Alumni association, and the student body.

Its main objective is to provide verified medical leads for oxygen, beds, medicines etc., across different cities. The leads are only given after verification. They also have a helpline number that people could call.

This initiative was started on 21st April 2021. 60 students are part of this initiative. Currently, they have received more than 2500 requests and provided help to more than 1000. The committee has collaborated with other universities and news channel as well.

The committee had also launched a project last year to provide aid to migrant labourers during the national lockdown.
