Duration of internship and timings

1 month, 10 am to 5 pm

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Well, you have to fill a form with your basic details and you get an intro of the officials.

The place is quite liberal in its approach, if you want to work, ask for it.

But coming late to the office might get you into some trouble as the officials watch over the activities of the interns.

Main tasks

Conducting surveys in local villages and blocks. Preparing articles on various topics like I have made a report on Pre- natal act and domestic violence act.

Presentation of the report has to be given on the prescribed date in front of an audience which include other co- interns and Members of the organisation and other officers. They have a separate conference room for this purpose.

Work environment and people

The working environment was less formal but supportive.

The authorities were very responsible towards the interns.

All the interns were friendly and interactive.

Best things of RLEK Internship

Friendly working environment.

Interactive interns to work with, scenic beauty.

Even we enjoyed the field work.

Bad things

Nothing as such.

Biggest Lessons from RLEK Internship

Punctuality and the internship was an eye opener.

Any Other Thing

There are malls all around and Dehradun anyway is full of amazing places.

Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls in the 2nd floor of the building which makes it easy for the interns to report in the office on time.

Office Timings

9 am to 5 pm
