REPEALED: BCI’s Certificate of Practice and Renewal Rules 2014

Bar Council of India’s controversial Certificate of Practice and Renewal Rules, 2014 which disallowed young graduates from practicing in the Supreme Court of India have been repealed.

According to the Rules which were notified on October 29, 2014 a fresh graduated had to spend 2 years in a trial court and 3 years in High Court to become eligible to practice in the Supreme Court.
