Application Process with contact details
I submitted my CV in PUCL to Kavita Srivastav ma’am and further she confirmed my internship .
Duration of internship and timings
December 12, 2015 – January 9, 2016
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The day I reached Jaipur and went to PUCL office, I was not 100% sure whether I want this internship , So you can say my first impression was not that good xD On this day , all the new interns were to undergo several paper works .
My first working day in PUCL also didn’t put a good impression on me but later on I realized this was one of the best decision of my life , not to discard the PUCL internship 🙂
The main task of PUCL is to work for people. So was the task of all the interns out there . We were asked to work on all the possible social issues and to provide reports giving solutions.
The tasks provided are basically for knowing what the people are facing. And PUCL and its interns do this job in a great manner.
Kavita Srivastav ma’am always stands beside us in every situation, ready to motivate and help in not letting our moral down .
Work environment and people
As all the interns are from the same field, therefore its amazing to have their company .
This is a part of gaining experience by meeting new people and knowing them. It’s always good to learn something from others .
And talking about work environment, I got a lot to explore being a part of PUCL 🙂
There are many best things about working for PUCL.
We get to know what exactly is going on in our country. Many of us remain unaware about what the people of our country is facing but at the time you start working for PUCL, you will be up-to-date and will be eager to know more.
Exploring, studying social issues , preparing reports were the best things for me, in PUCL .
Sorry but only the timings :'(
Around 10K for the month . Including rent , meals , transport and other purpose .
Got to see life from very close :’) Came across many such things which didn’t thought at all. Became much more social than I was .
Overall, a great experience.
I was staying in a flat with my friends . It was located in Barkat Nagar, near PUCL office , Jaipur.
Huh? Timings made me sad 🙁 It was like from 9 in the morning till 5 or sometimes 6 in the evening . Basically it was 9 working hours per day in chilling winter with a break of 1 hour everyday.
