First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The first day saw a bunch of us interns, mixed with different age groups were gathered at Gandhi Ashram,Delhi. For most of us, it was first social commitment to the values of community.

Planner and lots of guidelines were provided but not very well coordinated. They also instructed that we gonna be doing our tasks in remote villages which is under developed in the city of Delhi.

Main tasks

Real life problem solving, perspective building and creating youth spaces for self and social development are the key main focus areas of the program.

We were providing free education to children who were under 15 of age. These children were having difficulty in reading and writing in Hindi.

Work environment and people

Teaching kids in village areas were kinda a new and challenging phase for us but the community over there were such a warm feeling.

Caring and loving by through of sharing foods and having best time with these kiddos.

Best things

The best thing for me it was my childhood was revived again which was lost when I joined college.

Learning and teaching with such innocence kids was such a gold pot for me.

Bad things

The coordinators hadn’t specify the main task in depth.

Not a penny :/

Biggest Lessons

Learning doesn’t stops anywhere it should be go on till you are breathing . Knowledge should be shared anytime and anywhere.

Any Other Thing

Do go for this internship if you really wanna face some challenging and wanna feel like a superheroes unlike Rajnikanth 😉
