The office is situated at the 2nd and 3rd floors of building no. 254 of Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase III, New Delhi.
I had my own place, but there are a lot of affordable PG’s in East Of Kailash, Lajpat Nagar and Amar Colony.
The office timings are from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm. But depending on the work one gets, the intern may have to stay back late. I usually got free around 7:30 – 8:00 pm on regular working days.
One could apply for the internship by mailing their CV with a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org ,you will get a reply within 2 – 3 days, depending on the work load and level of applications.
One must apply at least 1 month before their ideal date of joining the firm for internship.
Duration of Internship
The office is extremely intern friendly and very willing to help interns out. The firm has three major divisions- the corporate, litigation & tax team. Interns keep getting work from the teams as per the team’s requirements.
The work which the interns are given must be completed duly and efficiently as the interns are trusted with the work they are delegated.
Interns are made to sit in the library in the 2nd floor, so they also have easy access to the commentaries and legal dictionaries. Majority of the work involved extensive research work on different fields of law (challenging but you learn a lot) and drafting agreements as well.
The stipend amount differs as per the firm’s policy.
The office provides a great learning experience and exposes you to various laws and fields, especially in the field of advisory where one is exposed to both Indian and Foreign Laws. The associates are incredibly helpful and take the time out to explain propositions.
Any other thing
Their Air conditioning is on point! Great summer internship option!
