About PCGT

Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) is a registered trust founded in the year 2002 by Mr. J. F. Ribeiro, Dr. R. K. Anand, and late Mr. B.G. Deshmukh to increase public participation and activism toward creating a more transparent and efficient governance system.

PCGT believes that the active participation of youth is crucial to bringing about positive social change. In furtherance of its vision and mission, PCGT started the Constitutional Literacy Programme in 2021 under its vertical Youth for Governance. 

About the Certificate Course

Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) in association with Pravin Gandhi College of Law (PGCL) is organizing an Online Certificate Course on Fundamentals of the Indian Constitution.

  1. Online Course spanning over 10 weeks
  2. Classes on Sunday evenings
  3. Extensive knowledge of the Constitution
  4. Taught by eminent practitioners, law professors, and former civil servants 
  5. Beneficial for UPSC and law aspirants, students, and young professionals with a non-law background 

General Details

  • Course Duration: 10 Weeks
  • Start Date (tentative): Sunday, July 3, 2022
  • End Date (tentative): Sunday, September 11, 2022
  • Classes to be held on: 2 lectures every Sunday; 5 pm to 6:30 pm (Lecture 1); 7 pm to 8:30 pm (Lecture 2)
  • Total 4 Units covered in 20 lectures and 30 hours. 

Eligibility Criteria

This course is open to law and UPSC aspirants, students, young professionals, and anyone interested to learn about the Indian Constitution 

How to Apply?

Applicants will be required to fill up the Google Form given at the end in order to apply for the course. Registrations are on a first come first serve basis due to limited seats.
