First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The office is situated in the basement of S-307,GK-1, New Delhi. On entering the office there is a reception, a separate cubicle for the associates and a conference room adjacent to Sir’s cabin. I was asked to report the office at sharp 4.00 PM and I reached the office on time.

I was asked to wait and then I was introduced to all the associates and my co interns by HR mam. All of them were very humble and friendly. After that all the interns were given confidentiality and personal information forms which we were to fill and submit along with the photocopy of the acceptance letter and college id. And then we all were allocated our respective work.

Main tasks

This law firm deals extensively with diverse areas of cyber law such as cyber security, cyber space, cyber law in the energy, health, education sector, etc. The work which we were assigned were mostly research based and one had to submit the work allotted  every alternative day and a new work was assigned  after the review of the last work.

Work environment and people

Outstanding work environment, all associates are very nice. The associates are very helpful and easy to approach.

Places to chill

One can hang-out at M- block Market which is at walking distance and is a nicely done up deli kind of a place. Also, Nehru place is 2 kms  away and have some of the best restaurants, cafes and lounges in Delhi. Further away, is Malviya Nagar which houses some humongous malls like Select Citywalk.

The office is located in a posh area and the PGs near to the office might get expensive so one can stay at Nehru Place, Malviya Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Kalkaji etc.

Since most of the work allotted was research based, one can enhance their research skill pretty well in this one month and Mr. Pavan Duggal himself takes presentation at the last day of internship. Mr. Pavan Duggal is a very kind and humble man. He closely studied our work and genuinely asked about our experience.

There is nothing bad about this internship, this was overall a good experience.
