About the Workshop:
Speaking plays a central part no matter where you go. The skill to put your thoughts effectively and clearly, be it in front of one person or a crowd of hundred, is one of the biggest assets to have.
Public speaking is something that people are more afraid of than dying. After all, once you die you do not have to give a speech anywhere. Yet, it is the one skill that could have the maximum impact on one’s life.
We want to dispel the myth that there are “natural born speakers”. Public speaking is a skill that can be worked on, just like any other skill.
We realize that this is a skill that can’t be taught in theory. Therefore we have designed activities that will help you speak in the workshop and get feedback from the facilitators.
Who Should Attend?
It doesn’t matter if you are a student or a working professional. If you feel that public speaking is a skill you want to learn, you can join this workshop.
What Will You Learn?
- Ingredients to a good speaker.
- How to overcome stage fright.
- What makes a good speech.
- How to become fluent.
- Speaking in different settings: debates, interviews, presentations, etc.
- How to track your progress.
The workshop will be for 6 weeks, starting from March 6 and April 10. Classes will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM, every Saturday.
If you want to get a taste of what you can expect in this workshop, attend our free webinar on public speaking happening on February 26, 5 PM to 6.30 PM. Register here for the free webinar.
