Online Photography Competition-and-Exhibition at Symbiosis Law School, Pune [April 29]: Submit by April 25

Symbiosis Law School, Pune is hosting ‘Iridescence’ – an online photography competition-and-exhibition that provides a platform for those students who have an interest in photography to have their skills displayed.

About the Competition

Currently, in its 7th edition, Iridescence serves as an opportune medium for participants to demonstrate their aptitude and inclination for photography, unearthing several hidden talents and enhancing their reputation, under the aegis of reputed professionals from the field of photography.

The idea behind this concept is to allow photographers the opportunity to exhibit moments of transient change, balance, free flow, and to immortalize those transformations in life which are infinitely yielding and powerful, by capturing them in one photograph of brilliance.

Furthermore, they wish to depict the versatility of water in all its forms – liquid, ice and dew, each communicating with different variables and becoming apt for the shutter of a camera. The perception and interpretation of the element of water, which retains no constant shape, is left to the capturer’s artistic liberty.

Entries shall be selected by a Quality Control Committee and will be displayed at the online exhibition slated to happen on the 29th of April, 2021 during Symbhav 2021, one of Pune’s biggest cultural festivals.

Whether a participant is an amateur photographer or an experienced one, operating either on a sophisticated DSLR or a phone camera, Symbiosis Law School, Pune wishes to invite everyone smitten by the art of photography to participate in their flagship Photography Event, Iridescence under the theme Shape of Water.

About the Judges
