First Day Formalities
Owing to the pandemic, I was enrolled for a work from the home internship. The mode of communication was WhatsApp and Email through which I was assigned my internship work.
As an intern at RSG Legal, I got the opportunity to explore various provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and Indian Penal Code, 1860. I extended my assistance in drafting a reply to a legal notice under Section 13(2) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002. Further drafted an application for setting aside an ex-parte arbitral award under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. I conducted in-depth research on various topics such as; criterion laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court with respect to open, non-mutual and current accounts. Further researched on judgments pertaining to the grounds for filing an appeal under Section 42 of IBC before NCLT against the decision of liquidator rejecting claims of creditors at a belated stage, the limitation period under IBC, grounds for filing application under Section 340 of IPC for perjury.
Internships play a crucial role in shaping our careers and RSG Legal truly helped me in amping up my research and analytical skills. For those who wish to have a competitive edge over others in the field of Arbitration and Concilialtion and Insolvency and Bankruptcy, RSG Legal is the firm to be at for the best ever learning experience. My experience with the firm was nothing short of spectacular. I learnt the most in comparison to the other top law firms i’ve interned under so far. At RSG Legal you get to have a direct contact with the partner who does his best to give you an understanding about the concept behind the research work instead of just dictating the work that needs to be done. Also, you get a feedback for every work that you do which is highly motivating to keep you working hard.
There were no cons.
Accommodation, Commuting to Office:
It is a virtual internship, no commutation was required.
Please Note: This internship experience hasn’t been edited and formatted much to maintain the originality of the intern’s experience.
