How did you apply for the internship?
I randomly searched for NGO internships and found about SBF. I filled the form and submitted.
Website: https://sbfindia.co.in/internship/
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
It was an online internship.
So I had a online meet with the other interns and our heads.
On the first day they told us about SBF and internship tenure. I was very excited.
The seniors explained everything in great detail and after every topic or rule shared they were asking for any doubts from our end.
After they meet got over, all the interns were divided into teams and for every month one team leader was selected.
Main Tasks
There were two important tasks; first was to organize various events for the upcoming important days.
Eg. International Yoga day, Earth day, etc.
The second task was to raise funds.Â
Work Environment
My team was very good and the work environment was also very good.
Since it was an online internship, interactions with other teams were very less.
The seniors were also very good. They always solved our doubts and made things very clear.
Good Things
The good thing about interning with SBF were:
1. Good environment;
2. Friendly heads;
3. Easy and less time consuming work;Â
4. Working only 5 days a week; andÂ
5. Easily providing certificate.
Bad Things
1. As a law student, I didn’t learn anything related to law. So if anyone is looking for a legal internship then this is not their cup of tea; and Â
2. Nothing to learn.
Stipend
It was an unpaid internship.
Details about accommodation and commute
It was an online internship.Â
Anything else?
I worked as an event management intern.
I organize around 5-6 events. We used to do meets like how to organize and creative learning.Â
