10:00 AM to 7:00 PM but being a work from the home internship, the hours were flexible and could extend beyond the given time depending on the amount of work at hand.
First Day Impression
The first-day things started off instantly. There are 3 partners at the firm being Saurabh, Sugam and Harsh sir and 2 associates Ankur sir and Sakshi ma’am. They had created a Whatsapp group for with us interns for easy communication. The first day I was given research work by Sugam sir and trademark-related search work by Saurabh sir.
Interns were required to assist different partners on different tasks. Each partner specialized in a different area and we had to work with all. Work was mainly in the nature of research, drafting different documents, article writing and conducting other due diligence as required.
Interns were expected to submit the deadlines in a timely manner. Drafting work included drafting consumer complaints, notices under 138 NI Act, trademark prosecution documents, RTIs and other miscellaneous documents.
The work environment was at home so it was a comfortable environment. The interaction with the partners and associates was quite frequent and partners were always open to help with any doubts, clarifications etc. Partners assign work to interns simultaneously so it is important to let the partners know in advance in case there is a need for an extension in case of clashing deadlines.
The best thing was that the partners were very receptive and were always willing to help. They would always take out time to explain things and were always willing to clarify doubts and help the interns. All the partners and associates were also very friendly and respectful. The feedback given at all times was honest and constructive.
Even on Sundays, partners would call and interact with interns not just about the internship but also mentor and counsel interns. The partners were young and thus establishing a connection with them was easy and they always made me feel comfortable in speaking my opinions and approaching them for any doubts or concerns.
No bad thing as such. For a virtual internship experience, it was great and fruitful exposure.
Performance-based stipend depends on your performance and attitude towards work.

I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
