Center for Child Rights of NUSRL, Ranchi has brought a 2-day e-Learning Certificate Course on effective implementation of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2015 coupled with field study.

About the Organizer

Center for Child Rights-NUSRL, Ranchi is a Center that fosters child rights in Jharkhand with the support from and in collaboration with UNICEF Jharkhand. It aims to become a Center of Excellence for Child Protection in the times to come by providing support to the government department and stakeholders with focus on capacity building and evidence generation

Details of the Opportunity

The overall objective of the course is to enhance the understanding of the participants on the key provisions of the Special Laws of protection of children including Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act 2015, Jharkhand Rules, POCSO Act 2012 and POCSO Rules 2020. Through this certificate course Center for Child Rights(CCR) is intended to help the stakeholders to develop more clarity on the role of District Child Protection Units(DCPU) and about the Community based Child Protection mechanism in the state

Module 1: Integrated Child Protection Schemes (ICPS)

Module 2: Special Laws on Child Protection( JJ Act 2015, POCSO Act 2012 & 2020, Jharkhand rules

Module 3: Rehabilitation, Reintegration and Restoration and Role of DCPU

Module 4: Development of Child Protection Plan and maintenance of records

Module 5: Creating and Maintaining Safety net for children through Convergence & Networking
