Nyaaya is a legal-tech initiative, created by the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, and ideated by Rohini Nilekani.
We are on a mission to provide an accessible, user-friendly and single window platform which documents and explains all Indian laws, and we are looking for a long-term intern who wants to contribute.
Any law student based out of Delhi in their 4th or 5th year of law school (5 year law program) or 2nd/3rd year of a 3 year law program can apply.
The internship will start at a one month trial basis and will be extended to 4-6 months subject to the performance of the candidate.
The internship will be based in Delhi, at Vidhi’s Defence Colony office. We want someone who is based out of Delhi who can be in the office for at least few hours in the week. We can come to a consensus based on the mutual requirements on exact hours and schedule.
As an intern you would be contributing mainly to creating content for the website that explains legal topics in a simple, easy to understand way. This will require doing competent, comprehensive research and drafting short, factually accurate, concise explanations of particular facets of a legal topic. Depending on your interests, the time available, you can also be involved in developing infographics, tech, design, and working on outreach for the website.
