NUALS Kochi Placements 2020: 31 Placed; 2 Chose LLM Abroad

In these challenging times when the world has come together to stand with the batch of 2020 globally, one university in India has broken all it’s past placement records.

This good news has come from The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi where 31 students have secured placements at the following firms/organizations:

The 7 firms namely, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, Wadia Ghandy, EY, WNS Global, TLC Legal, and Veeksha LLP participated in campus recruitment, while the other 10 firms hired through internships.

It is important to note that this is a record placement number in the history of this Institution. No previous batches have secured the same.

In addition to this, two students secured LLM admissions in the following places:

London School of Economics
University of Edinburgh

However, the COVID-19 situation has affected the outgoing batch’s placements

Places like Axis Bank, LKS, Tree of Life Associates (Bangalore) & Manilal Kher & Ambalal (Mumbai) had accepted the invitation but the process is temporarily delayed.

The Core Committee of the Placement Cell comprised of Dhanya Prasad, Anuj Jain, Ajay Krishna, Gokul Ashok, BVN Sai Charan, and Aishwarya Ajayan, along with faculty advisor Dr. Mini S Thampi.
