NLU Delhi’s Second National Workshop on Research Methods and Data Analysis [May 8-10] 2014; Register by April 15

The core objective of the workshop would be to developing slills of the participants in the areas of construction and applications of research methodology, data analysis through use of software and computer applications.

The Workshop intends to adopt a definite methodology to achieve the objectives of the programme.

Besides conducting the practical sessions giving inputs of skill and use of computer softwares, the participants would also be allotted the assignments for preparing a research proposal detailing all necessary facets like formulation of research problems, research design, sampling, hypothesis building, analysis frame etc.

Level of participation

The workshop would mainly target young teachers and those pursing PhD.

Besides, social scientists, research personnel with Govt. and non Govt. Sectors, and research scholars working in various streams of social sciences (specially from Law, Sociology, Political Science and allied areas) are proposed to be involved in this workshop.

The number participants is proposed be tentatively kept up to fifty only. The delegates to bear their travel costs  themselves.

Participation Fee

A nominal fee is proposed to be charged from the participants. The proposed fee structure would be as follows:
@ Rs. 5000/- for those who would require accommodation
@ Rs. 4000/- for those who do not need accommodation

The fee would include the accommodation in cubicles or  guest house, meals and course material.

The participants need to carry their laptops to be able  to use data analysis exercises.

The request for registration may please be addressed in the enclosed form by April 15, 2014 to [email protected]

On receiving the confirmation of the application, the candidate to send the requisite registration fee through a Demand Draft drawn and sent in favour of “Registrar, National Law University, Delhi,” payable at Delhi.
