The Centre for law & Governance, ILNU is proud to announce its 1st  National Law & Governance essay Competition. As an aspiration to stimulate its aim of proliferating new thoughts and research skills,  the competition is designed to motivate students and young  professionals to apply their tenderfoot genius to the complex world  of Legal governance.

  • Inference of Lokpal & Lokayukta – Transparency and accountability
  • Evolving Role of CAG in ensuring transparency & accountability

  • Social Networking websites vis-à-vis Art. 19(1)(a) of the Constitution
  • Role of Communication & Communication Management in Law

Publication: All the selected Essays would be published in Centre’s Publication.

Participation

Any undergraduate law student (3 years/5 years course) &  L.L.M can participate in the competition. No more than 2 authors can participate together.

Fees

Every participant of the essay competition has to submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 200 in the name of ‘Institute of Law, Nirma University, payable at Ahmadabad.

Note: If there are two authors then both has to pay individually.

  1. THE SUBMISSION DATE FOR THE ESSAY AND REGISTRATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 31ST JANUARY 2013.

    IF THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN THE REGISTRATION GUIDELINES, WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE PARTICIPANTS, THOUGH NO CHANGE HAS BEEN OBSERVED IN THE FORMAT AND ALSO NO HARD COPY OF THE ESSAY IS REQUIRED.

    WE WILL SOON SEND AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT MAIL FOR THE DD THAT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.

  2. You DO NOT need to send the Scanned Copy of the DD. We will shoot an email for the DD confirmation, tallying it with the Essay. If we are unable to fetch the essay, you will be informed to send it again. If we do not acknowledge your DD, then you will have to send a scanned copy of the DD within 24 hrs of the intimation. If you haven’t kept a scanned copy of the DD and have already posted it and in case we don’t receive it, then we will ask you to furnish the details of the DD.

  3. The last date for the submission of the DD and the Essay is December 5. Though no hard copy for the essay is required.
    Participation certificate will be given to all the participants provided the essay is not found plagiarized.
    The submission guidelines are there on the official website of the Institute. Kindly ignore the Poster there because of the incorrect date(s). The poster which said about the date of submission being Dec 5 is the correct one. Kindly post your DD asap for us to register the final participants.

  4. kindly furnish the details regarding last date of depositing DD of INR 200. Also, is it necessary to mail a scanned copy of the DD as well? If yes, to which mail address?

    I found another brochure giving another date i.e. 12th Nov.

  6. sir the last date for submission given by you does not match with the date given on official website and should we post the dd and whats the last date for dd.
