The Network for International Law Students (NILS) is an international, independent, nonpolitical, non-profit organisation, run by and for law students.

Negotiations’ is an effective technique used by skilled experts and lawyers and exists at the core of Alternate Dispute Resolution. For the first time in India, The Great Legal Negotiator Workshop by Dr. Claudia Winkler, LL.M. (Harvard) is being introduced and hosted by the Network for International Law Students (NILS).
The Great Legal Negotiator workshop focuses on giving you an introduction into the most important negotiation skills and theories, such as the Harvard principled negotiation principles.
We will talk about the difference between interest-based negotiation and bargaining, the key factors of success and failure in each negotiation and the most important steps in preparing for an upcoming negotiation.
You will have the opportunity to do some real life negotiations and gain hands-on experience and feedback that you can use in your next negotiation immediately. The Workshop will be certified for law and non-law students interested in honing their negotiation skills to leverage their career.

About the Negotiation and Mediator Trainer
Dr. Claudia Winkler, LL.M. (Harvard), is a Negotiation and Mediation Trainer, the Director of the IBA-VIAC CDRC Vienna Mediation and Negotiation Competition and the General Counsel of SMART Recruiting Technologies.
