National Human Rights Commission is organizing Essay writing competition in Hindj for the Dalits (Scheduled caste) on the subject “66 years of independence & the condition of Dalits : An evaluation” in a bid to encourage creative writing in Hindi on various subjects pertaining to Human Rights.
Citizens of India can participate in this competition only.
Total number of words in the essay should be at least 5,000. The last date for sending the entries is 30.06.2013.
Three awards of Rs. 10,000/-, 7,500/- and 5,000/– will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively. Information regarding the prized essay will be given on the commission’s website and the result will be communicated to the author also.
The essay should be typed on computer and the correspondence address of the writer along with pin code must be written. The writer is required to belong to Dalit community. Hence, he will have to submit his caste certificate.
The willing person may send his essay by post to the Assistant Director (OL), National Human Rights Commission, Faridkot House, Copemicus Marg, New Delhi-110001. Four copies of the essay are to be sent for the competition.
The entries received for the competition will not be returned and the commission will have copyright over them. In case of any debate the decision of the commission will be final. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
