NALSAR is organizing its 2nd Edition of the NALSAR-UNHCR Public International Law Moot Court Competition, scheduled to be held on May 15th-16th, 2021. This year’s edition will be held in virtual mode.
About the Organizer
NALSAR, Hyderabad: The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, is a National Law University located in Shamirpet, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Established in 1998 by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly by the state of Andhra Pradesh.
UNHCR: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is a UN agency mandated to aid and protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people, and to assist in their voluntary repatriation, local integration or resettlement to a third country.
About the Moot
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the UN Refugee Agency has collaborated for the 2nd edition of the NALSAR-UNHCR Public International Law Moot Court Competition. The moot is being organized in association with the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), Enhelion, SCC Online, and Eastern Book Company (EBC), who will serve as our Knowledge Partners.
The competition is scheduled to be held from 15th -16th May 2021, on a virtual platform. The moot will be judged by esteemed scholars of Public International Law who have expertise in the legal issues stated in the moot problem. the organizers are pleased to invite a team from all esteemed institutions to participate in the 2nd edition of the moot court competition.
The moot court competition aims to further research work on the emerging issues related to Public International Law and to amplify the interest of the participants in the same.
