Office and Team strength
Office was situated on the main Road and hardly takes 5 minutes from Laxmi Nagar Metro Station. Office was divided into two parts. Mr. Ravindra and his associates used to sit in the main office and intern in the other part.
As the office was small the numbers of persons were also less. There were six people including Associates and junior advocates. During my internship we were 2 interns in that office.
Duration of internship
1st July 2015 -26th July 2015
Application procedure
I got this internship through my personal approach. Mr. Ravindra is a good writer and he writer in different newspaper and magazines on controversial issues. I read his article in newspaper and got his mail id from there. I sent my CV and got approval within few days.
You can send E-mail to Mr. Ravindra S. Garia with the subject name, INTERNSHIP SUMMER/WINTER.
First impression, first day, formalities
There was no concept of first day first impression and formalities. We had to go to office always in black formal. We had to reach office at 10 O’clock in the morning. Most of the time we were given office work like research and others.
Main Task
Main task in this internship was research and translation. He used to give me the order and such other documents which were in Hindi language and I was supposed to translate those documents in English.
Sometime he used to give research work. I got research work on nullity of marriage and maintenance under Hindu Law.
Work Environment
Work environment was friendly and there were many things to learn. We were supposed to submit our daily report to him.
Best things
Best thing of the office was that there were a lot of things to learn and associates were ready to teach the intern. Time flexibility is another best thing. There was no strict time for office.
Bad things
There was no A.C in the room where we used to sit.
