Call for Chapters: Lex Insight’s E-Book on Contemporary Legal Issues in India: Submit by July 15

Lex Insight invites submission for the 2nd issue of Lex Insight’s E-Book on Contemporary Legal Issues in India (2021). 

About the E-Book

The present 2nd issue of the E-Book will be published tentatively in the month of September along with an ISBN Number.

First Issue of our E-Book is available here. 

Apart from the E-Book, Lex Insight journal is a bi-annual, peer reviewed publication and the previous Issues of our Journal can be accessed by clicking here.

Eligibility

Submissions from law students, members of the bar, bench and academia are welcomed.

Fee Details

There are no publication charges, Lex Insight operates with a Free-to-access policy.

Themes and Submission

Submissions can be in the form of short articles, Long articles and Essays dealing with subjects of Corporate Law, Criminal/Civil Law, Dispute Resolution, Public Policy or other relevant topics which have contemporary relevance. Recent topics and legal debates from 2020/2021 will be given preference.

Eligibility

The submissions are welcome from law students, academicians, research scholars, professionals as well as anyone having a deep interest in the subject.

Guidelines of Submission

The word limit for various submissions is as follows

• Short Articles: 2000 – 3000 words
• Long articles: 3000-5000 words

All submissions must be made in .doc/.docx format only.  

Each submission mail must be attached with a Cover letter mentioning: Name of author, occupation, university/organisation, desired title of submission and contact number.

Formatting Guidelines

• Abstract (150-250 words): Italics, Times New Roman 10, Single spacing, Justified.
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 (for main text), 10 (for footnotes), Justified.
• Citation formatting: 20th edition Harvard Bluebook 
• Line Spacing: 1.5 for text and 1.0 for footnotes

Each submission shall be subjected to a plagiarism check. Authors submitting should acknowledge the originality of the submission.

 Submission Deadline

All unpublished/original submissions should reach us on or before 15th July, 2021. It can be extended subject to the decision of the editorial board.

Receipt of submission shall be conveyed within 4-6 working days.
