Hamari Pahchan NGO is inviting applications from interested students for legal research and ground-level research internship opportunities, as well as special volunteering cum internship opportunities.

1. Legal Researcher (In Office): Legal Research

Responsibilities of the Intern

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Drafting official letters, proposals, agreements, etc.
  • Researching various opportunities/schemes/projects/awards over different government and semi-government portals where our organization can register
  • Performing extensive research on various topics provided by the organization
  • Working on making/appearing in the organization’s awareness videos
  • Organising interactive sessions over various topics with the NGO partners and other organizations on the behalf of the NGO
  • Writing proposal for NGO’s project
  • Preparing project reports
  • Handling similar other miscellaneous work

Rs. 2000-5000 per month

2. Ground Level Research (In-office Internship)

Responsibilities of the Intern

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Research on allotted topic
  • Report making with stats, figures and data analysis
  • Work on door-to-door surveying
  • Organize interactive classes for underprivileged children and women
  • Assist the organization in conducting distribution drives
  • Maintain daily records of the field office and finish the weekly records
  • Manage and resolve challenges arising from the field
  • Organize Drishti classes on a regular basis in various locations

3. Social Entrepreneurship (Special Volunteering cum Internship Program)

Responsibilities of the Intern

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Social media campaigning: Study about our ongoing projects campaigning on social media. You should know how we work, what we work. During activities, we will try to engage you in such a manner to make you understand how you can use social media to boost your presence or to make people aware of your campaign.
  • Help us in creating a bigger impact by coordinating in awareness activities our projects and ongoing initiative
  • Research/Suggestions: Take an active part in the weekly task of writing our suggestions and strategies which will help us in organizational growth and at the same time help the candidate in building strategies. Suggestions regarding the topic that you have chosen, what are your plans to work on it. You’ll be working as a social entrepreneur and you will be the mentor where you will help them in every step. Making strategies for charity work.
  • Content Writing: Work on content writing which should be original and will be published on our website as well as other social media handles. You’ll write about what you feel and how you are going to make people aware of their topic.
  • Project Management: Advocacy, research, activism, networking, and organizational facets of building projects will all be learned. Promotion of your projects for a wider reach to the public hence working on a project from the very grass root level to its execution. Raising funds for the project will be part of it.
  • Email approach: Research and emailing work about the authorities concerned for a social cause
  • Approaching social media influencers about our work
  • Legal Awareness campaigning: How to reach the correct authority in case of any grievance (RTI & Complaints), guidance and drafting of the same

4. Charity Week (Work from Home)

Responsibilities of the Intern

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Creating a fundraising campaign- you will be given the list of causes on which we are working currently. You need to select one of the causes and create a supporting campaign
  • Promoting it on social media and on WhatsApp- You will broadcast the campaign on personal chat to all your contacts and ask them to contribute. There is no target for the same
  • Call for Volunteers- You need to circulate the messages regarding the volunteering opportunity and forward the details of the interested candidates.
  • Raise awareness about the cause you have selected
  • Have relevant skills and interests
