Online Legal Drafting Weekend by SVKM’s NMIMS School of Law, Bengaluru: Register by April 14

SVKM’s NMIMS School of Law, Bengaluru is organizing their first edition of “ONLINE LEGAL DRAFTING WEEKEND” which includes judgment writing and policy drafting competition.

Rules and regulation for Policy Writing

Eligibility: Bona-fide Law students pursuing 3 or 5 years degree courses are eligible to participate.

Participation:

There will be individual participation. This cannot be modified under any circumstances. All law colleges are allowed to take part in the competition.

Date and Venue:

  • Participants should register themselves by 14th of April, 2020
  • Last day of submission 30th April 2020.
  • Results will be declared by 15th May 2020.

Language: The competition shall only be in English Language.

Format

  • Participants will be provided with a problem on which they need to draft the policy

DECISION: Decision of the jury shall be final and binding. The decision of the Organizing Committee shall be binding in the interpretation of any rules or for any query or otherwise.

REGISTRATION

  • Participants should register themself by 14th of April,2020.
  • The Registration Fee is Rs. 300 (Individual participation).

The participants must submit the duly filled registration form via Google form after making Payment. The link for it is here. A confirmation mail will be sent on approval of registration form.

Rules and regulation for Judgment Writing

Eligibility: Bona-fide LL.B. students pursuing 3 or 5 years degree courses are eligible to participate. This competition is open for all the law colleges.

Participation: Individual participation is allowed. Each team shall consist of a maximum two members. This number cannot be modified
under any circumstances.

Date and Venue: The competition will be an online-based competition. The last date of submission is 30th April 2020.

Language: The competition shall only be in English Language.

Format

  • Participants will be provided with a fact-based Problem through the mail.
  • The participants need to submit their final draft on the 30th April only in the English Language.
  • Results will be declared on 15th of May.

Theme: Contract and Tort law (The problem will be solely based on these two laws).

REGISTRATION

  • Last day of registration 14th of April 2020.
  • The Registration Fee is Rs. 300 (Individual participation) and team Rs. 500 (Team Participation)
  • Mode of Payment: Registration Fees should be paid online through NEFT/ RTGS.
  • The participants must submit the duly filled registration form via Google form after making Payment HERE.
